[Masterful Craftsmanship] From the materials and colors to the finest finishing details, this is not just a lens; each one is a work of art. Classic brass is carefully selected for the lens barrel. Over time, it develops a unique "dewy copper" beauty, and its character is beyond words, making it a truly "soulful" lens that resonates with photographers and is worth holding. It should be noted that brass is difficult to process, its manufacturing cost is far higher than that of alloys, and surface treatment is even more challenging, so many brands currently avoid using brass for lens barrels. [Handcrafted Lacquer Finish] The lenses inherit traditional techniques for a glossy finish, embodying the characteristics of fine craftsmanship. The technique of gold-decorated lacquerware originated in China during the Tang Dynasty and was later introduced to Japan. The manufacturing process involves more than 100 steps, all of which come together to create the jet-black lenses. This is not merely an exploration of craftsmanship, but an unwavering commitment to aesthetic sensibility and the spirit of craftsmanship. 【Ultra-thin and Lightweight Design】The Brightin Star 28mm F2.8 lens redefines the concept of a "pencake lens" with its astonishingly thin design of just 9.9mm and high functionality. Despite its slim profile of only 9.9mm, it features a rangefinder compatible with macula coupling, a flash adjustment ring, and a focus adjustment ring, achieving a design that does not compromise on functionality. [Macular Linkage Mechanism] This lens combines an ultra-thin 9.9mm design with a precise mechanical structure to achieve high-precision macular linkage functionality. Each lens is completed through manual adjustment and repeated testing at every stage of production. This meticulous attention to detail in adjusting each lens increases the difficulty and cost of manufacturing, but it provides users with a more accurate and reliable user experience. [High-Performance Optical Configuration (5 Groups, 6 Elements)] The entire lens configuration consists of 6 elements: the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th elements are made of high-refractive index glass, and the 5th element is made of ultra-low dispersion glass from Japan. This significantly suppresses chromatic aberration and distortion, improving light transmission and detail rendering. By positioning the final lens element as far back as possible, and designing the last element to almost touch the tail of the lens, the optical performance is pushed to its limits, resulting in a purer image rendering experience. [Ultra-thin UV filter] This ultra-thin black lacquer UV filter harmonizes perfectly with the classic black lacquer finish of the lenses. Its simple and classic design creates a seamless look with the lenses, making it ideal as a lens cap. When attached, it's only 1mm thick. The frame is made of black lacquer-finished brass, ensuring design consistency with the lenses. [High Image Quality] This is a truly ultra-thin wide-angle pencake lens, pursuing a slim design without compromising on optical performance. Among the many "potato chip" lenses that tend to remain merely for "amateur use," this 28mm lens is not just about "taking pictures," but a truly practical lens that enables the creation of high-quality works. 【Wide Compatibility】The Brightin Star 28mm F2.8 lens, thanks to its unique design, is compatible with a wide range of quick-mount devices.
