Vandoren Alto Saxophone Reeds, Java, Hardness: 3 (10 reeds)

Developed by Vandoren in 1983 for jazz and popular music, this reed has a thicker tip and a more flexible palette than traditional reeds, allowing for maximum resilience and vibration over a wider area. The resulting wider elastic zone allows for more flexible playing. The "JAVA" in JAVA stands for jazz, "VA" for variety (entertainment music), and of course, Vandoren.
