Are outside the ear, snug. Unfortunately, this means no noise cancellation. You can also unfortunately lose them easily because of this. I find them suboptimal. Sometimes unfortunately already have a loose connection on the right earbud, now 2 times. Also, with my Samsung, I have to select the highest volume to hear the normal volume. A shame.

I haven't tried them, but they are the third ones I buy. For me, they are the best by far.
