Description

The Kobe AD Mid was launched in August 2017 as the third basketball shoe in the Kobe A.D. series. Its initial release comprised five colorways, each inspired by Kobe’s 'Mamba Mentality,' which he interpreted in greater detail using principles of color psychology. Specifically, purple symbolizes fearlessness, gray represents excellence, yellow signifies positivity, red embodies passion, and teal conveys composure. Each of the five sneakers features distinct design details—such as unique patterns and styling elements—to express its respective interpretation of the Mamba Mentality.
