Kato Woodworking Co., Ltd. handcrafts each and every item. Our bentwood frames are made from plywood manufactured by "Satsuru Veneer Co., Ltd." in Hokkaido, which we then process into bentwood frames ourselves. As the only manufacturer of bentwood clocks in Japan that processes the materials for the wooden frames of our plywood wall clocks in Japan, we will continue to strive for excellence. With the hope that you will be able to use it for as long as possible, we use an analog type movement that is less prone to malfunction. Also, because it is a sweep type, it makes little noise, and since it is a two-hand type without a second hand, we think you will hardly notice any sound at all. [Each watch is carefully handcrafted] Each watch is meticulously made by hand by a woodworker, using wood that has no two pieces with the same grain. The resulting watch will have a unique character, a watch made just for you. Because a watch is an item that accompanies you throughout your life, we want to be particular about each and every customer who holds one in their hands. With that dedication and passion in mind, we continue to make watches in our small factory in Gujo Hachiman every day.
