Greenman Woodwick Soy Candle – Sage & Mintwood

A green glass soy wax scented candle for quiet evenings, fresh with cool mint, softened by sage and woodland notes. The woodwick brings a gentle crackle as it burns, giving the room a fireside feeling without making the scent heavy.

Fresh herbs and green-wood stillness

Cool mint gives the first impression, clean and clear, like opening a window onto a shaded path.

Sage settles underneath with a softer herbal warmth, keeping the fragrance calm rather than sharp.

Woodland notes add depth, so the candle feels green, grounded and quietly atmospheric.

The wooden wick adds a soft crackle, turning the flame into part of the ritual.

The dark green glass, cork lid and natural neck tie suit a shelf, bedside table or calm bathroom corner.

Soy wax with a crackling wooden wick

The candle is made with soy wax and a woodwick, set inside a green glass jar. Soy wax is a plant-based candle wax, while the wooden wick changes the mood of the burn with a low, fireside sound.

Green glass, cork and natural styling

The jar has a deep forest-green tone, with a cork lid and a clean white paper label. It looks simple and earthy rather than polished, made to sit easily with plants, stone, wood and other nature-inspired pieces.

How to burn it well

Place the candle on a heat-proof holder or plate before lighting. Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each burn, and keep it away from curtains and anything flammable.

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Let the wax cool fully before replacing the cork lid or moving the jar.

Rooted in woodland ritual

This candle belongs to the Greenman Rituals range, which draws on the image of the Green Man, a leafy face found in European church carvings, garden ornament and folklore. The figure is often linked with renewal, wild growth and the turning of the seasons. Here, that woodland mood comes through in a fresher way: mint for a cool green lift, sage for herbal softness, and a crackling wick that makes lighting it feel like a small …
