Double Angel Wing Heart Ornament, Handmade 15cm

A small white-washed wooden wall hanging can soften a plain corner straight away, adding pale texture and a quiet vintage note to a door, shelf or wall. This piece pairs angel wings with a heart form, giving the room a gentle focal point without feeling ornate.

White-washed wood with a timeworn finish

The pale surface keeps the look light, so it sits easily with natural linens, soft neutrals and calm festive styling.

The distressed finish gives the wood a weathered, well-loved character rather than a flat painted look.

The double wing shape adds soft symmetry, with the heart at the centre drawing the eye in.

It feels delicate enough for a nursery corner, yet simple enough for a hallway, bedroom or winter table setting.

Because the distressing is done by hand, each ornament carries small variations in tone and finish.

Albesia wood, finished by hand

Made from white-washed Albesia wood, this ornament has the lightness and softly textured surface that suits wall décor. Each piece is distressed by hand, so the worn edges and pale finish will not be exactly the same from one to the next.

Where to place it

Hang it on a wall or door where the wing shape can be seen clearly, or prop it on a shelf among candles, cards or dried flowers. Keep it indoors and away from damp areas, as painted and washed wood is best cared for in a dry room.

Angel wings in the home

Angel wings are a familiar motif in Christian art and European seasonal decoration, often linked with care, remembrance and blessing. Paired with a heart, the shape becomes especially suited to threshold moments: a new baby, a Christening, a wedding table, or a quiet memorial corner at home. Here the symbolism is gentle rather than formal. The pale distressed wood keeps it close to folk decoration, something simple to live with rather than a ceremonial object.
