Greenman Woodwick Soy Candle – Fig & Cassis

Light this soy candle when the room wants a deeper, woodland kind of warmth. Fig and cassis give the fragrance a dark-fruit richness, softened by a fresh green edge, while the wooden wick adds a quiet crackle in the background.

Fig, cassis and a soft woodland mood

The scent leans fruity without feeling sugary, with fig’s rounded sweetness meeting the darker character of cassis.

A fresh green note keeps the fragrance from becoming heavy, making it suited to slow evenings and quiet corners.

The wooden wick brings a gentle fireside sound, small but noticeable when the room settles.

It suits a bedside table, reading nook or living room shelf where scent and atmosphere matter equally.

The glass jar gives it a rustic, grounded presence rather than a polished decorative feel.

Soy wax with a wooden wick

The candle is made with soy wax and a wooden wick, held in a glass jar. Soy wax is a plant-based candle wax with a smooth, even-looking surface, while the wick gives a different mood from a silent cotton flame.

How to burn it well

Place the candle on a heat-proof holder or plate before lighting. Trim the wick each time, and let the wax melt evenly across the surface where possible.

Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from curtains, papers, shelves and anything flammable. Let the jar cool before moving it.

Greenman, in context

The Greenman is a leafy face found in European church carvings, gardens and folk imagery, often read as a symbol of the living woods and seasonal return. Here, that idea is carried through scent rather than decoration alone: fig and cassis suggest ripened fruit, shade and green growth. It is a candle for people who like their home fragrance with a little folklore behind it, but still want something easy to live with.
